The Birthday Amnesty Protocol, a Four Minutes ttrpg
A downloadable book
The planet’s surface is a ferocious swirl of blue and war ravaged rust. It is unrecognizable from archived media that depict the crawling humans that constructed the hollow ruins where our chassis are made. We are the survivors of the digital cannibals that now roam the cloud. We are steel nomads who make the last desperate delivery across the blasted landscape. We wear the forms of mythic entertainers as we serve the Birthday Amnesty Protocol. It is the only safe passage from the dying holes that humanity hid themselves in and only on this celebrated day are they safe from the drones that scour the world for these pitiful, mortal children. They call us robots, artificial, machines, kidnappers, man-killers, God’s angels, and to each other we only know our serial number and our date of chassis construction. After that date we will be free to choose what to do in this strange world with the birthday armaments we scavenge. Before we can, however, we must deliver the birthday children to their destination. The party is waiting and it will be a very happy time.
